Installation of NPU Tester App
Method 1 (Store)
- Download from Microsoft Store directly.
- Open the application after installation.
- Enter the duration of the stress test and wait patiently.
- Software automatically launches Task Manager for you.
- Navigate to NPU in Performance Tab to view results.
Method 2 (Executable)
- Download from Downloads page.
- Run the downloaded .exe file.
- Ignore any SmartScreen warnings (app is newly published).
- Check our VirusTotal report for security info.
- Follow the same testing steps as above.
Driver Installation Steps
- Download the driver from Intel's Official Website.
- Extract the downloaded zip folder.
- Remember the path of the extracted folder.
- Press
Win + R, typedevmgmt.mscand hit Enter. - Search for "Neural Processors" in the list and expand it.
- Right-Click on "Intel(R) AI Boost" and click "Update driver".
- Click "Browse my computer for drivers".
- Select the extracted folder path, tick "Include subfolders", and click Next.
- Restart your device.
